So you want figures, but you don't want figures, you ask to be "put down" for a case of wave 8, but they're ugly and if you find any you'll send them to me? Tell you what, Space. You have some things to sort through. I'm bowing out of this one. |

I resent the fact that a scalper has to be a "Darth"!

ok let me explain what I'm saying here because it seems that you missed my point. Example.... you want a MOC Flint. Just like the one you kept passing on because the card was bent. Well lets say "Darth Salper" has one up on E bay. Now if YOU want one MOC and all you are finding is bent cards at retail it stands to reason that if you want it bad enough you will pay more for it. The harder it is to find the way you want it the more you are willing to pay to get it. If there is less of a chance to find it at retail MOC then the secondary market's value will go up on them.
Oh and I don't think many MOC collectors "army build" or bye for customs. Hey I have a great idea. In the time it takes to bend every card they can send an e mail to the retailer telling them that you would like to see more ordered. |

I didnt pass on because the card was bent i passed because I just didnt want it at the time...I picked up later when i got more into these new Joes......I was against the line in the beginning because i was all about ARAH......That Flint wasnt hard to find in that store because he sat there for two weeks........going by your point why didnt anyone pick him up but me? Because a MOC Collector couldnt call that MOC and a scalper couldnt sale that on Ebay.....he could but not for much.....Ive done the Email and face to face it doesnt work.......
Now if all of these "benders" were sending e mails and talking face to face as well don't you think a little more could be done? Look I'm all about a Rebel with a cause but a Rebel just because is something else. |

ok but I think you are still missing my point. First off a MOC collector is not evil. They shouldn't be thrown in with scalpers. Who are we to say how another is to collect? Also as I said the MOC collector isn't going to buying a lot to make customs or army build. They want their collection then move on. The openers out there army buld, buy more than one of the same figure. Make customs that you have to buy two or three other figures just to make one. There is no difference in the two collectors when they are at the store. The difference is what they do with them when the get them home.
Now if all of these "benders" were sending e mails and talking face to face as well don't you think a little more could be done? Look I'm all about a Rebel with a cause but a Rebel just because is something else. LOL I know they arent evil...some are ...........(Gulp) nice... I get you, i get you.... |
