The 3 packs and smaller sets from conventions sell out, but the big box sets seem to linger. |

Why they haven't done the Oktober Guard, I can't imagine - unless Hasbro is stopping them. Heck Hasbro just give us a POC Horror Show (psst...25th Bazooka Head with RA ROC HD body cover with new webgear).
I think a mixed set of old GI Joe brass from the different medias would be awesome. General Flagg with his assistant Sparks, Col Sharpe, Shooter, and Agent Delta (Flagg's proto Joe from DDP). That would be an awesome set of old skool Joes that never were.... |

I'm ready for Hasbro to get off their cans and take the whole thing over. Imagine if you could get the COMPLETE set of what the Club is offering this year.... figures, vehicles, the whole shebang... for under $100. Don't think Hasbro can do great exclusives, at a reasonable price? Then just look at what they do for SDCC every year.
They've obviously got the promotional talent working for them already... and the entire Joe development team to get their input. It's a win-win as far as I'm concerned... and I won't have to stand in a hotel lobby watching a guy stand on a chair giving Boy Scout hand-signs for 'be quiet'. |

So you sold the club figure to pay for the membership? if so whats the point of the club if you dont keep them for yourself? Im in the Tfclub and I cant really complain. I do wish it was a monthly mag and not bi-monthly. The figures are usually decent but the websites for both clubs suck butthole. I only signed up to get into Botcon cheaper and get the collectors set.
I'm glad they made him. He isn't a favorite, and I'd have preferred Modern molds for him, but I'm OK with it. I saved a lot of money with the Dr. Venom sets. I have a thing for Dr. Venom. I'd still have bought as many sets as I did (four) but the Officer's level membership saved me some bucks. Not to mention the $5 Nullifiers I went berserk on. I don't mind mixing ARAH/VvV and Modern molds, especially when characters are masked. I also scored a set of the SDCC Slaughters thanks to the Club at a reasonable price. I went ahead and pulled the trigger, imagining I'd probably regret it later 'cause I could have got them cheaper at HTS. Ha, ha and ha. Turns out that decision worked in my favor. All in all, it helped me out immensely this year to be a member.

I'll tell you I was firmly in the camp of membership isn't worth the price but this is the first year I joined and while pricing IS expensive I made a killing when they did their clearence sale...I can't recall the exact amount but I got near a grand in merch for about $300. And Had I hit ebay I'd have paid more that the 3 bills I did for sure. |

Shooter. I thought about this just last night. I'm not a member of the club, not yet at least, but if they make Shooter, I'll join right this very minute.

This was the 1st year I joined, the sale was awesome, I got all 4 of the Flaming Moth Sets for $60. Yes, they're O-Rings, but they're worth it! |

All in 25th style:
Continue to make figures to fill the holes & expand to include all of the vintage line up to 1994, including Cobra-La, neon figures, etc. We may not all be fans, but there are some of us that enjoyed the entire run. Continue to make figures from cartoons & comics that were not originally released. Like they did with Dr. Venom. Continue to make figures based on vintage International Exclusive designs, colors, etc. Don't feel the need to release a figure if it looks exactly the same as the original U.S. release, but if others want it, I have no problem with it. Make troop builder packs if Hasbro doesn't want to. If there is still time & resources for it after all the above, new characters would be welcomed as well. Vehicles the Club releases are sort of hit or miss for me, but if they decide to expand that as well, that would be nice, but not above the figure requests already mentioned. |
