| | Firebat Carpetbomber Join Date: Sep 2007 Location: BBQ City Posts: 1,537 | Natural Disasters and Joe i thought i would bring this up whilst i sit here listening to the tornado sirens rail around me. obviously when mother nature brings her wrath one must get loved ones and pets to safety. however, how far would you go or have gone to save your hasbro plastics from the fury of the gods? i have nightmares about this all the time and i know i am not alone.
i think i might get myself to the basement here pretty soon, a town just south of me is getting some twister sightings. something wicked this way blows my friends. |

For me my kids and wife come first (i am sure everyone else is of like mind). Sure Joes are cool but they are in the end just pieces of plastic. I would say if one has time go ahead and stash what you can of value in the basement (not just Joes!). However if you say there are sirens going off get to safety and let the Joes fend for themselves.

No toys were packed up. Honestly, when you are in a situation where you only have minutes to spare, toys are at the bottom of the list. My life, my girlfriend's, my cat, my personal and financial records and documents are irreplaceable......toys aren't. |
