In the Absence of the RED SHADOWS the Venom of Cobra Begins !

Okay I just want to talk a little about what I was thinking and doing when I did my 5 pages of the second chapter this story

first Page :



This was actually the last page I did, I was really dreading this page, just something about all the detail that had to be done like the circus and the ferris wheel to Storm Shadows Jump over Albert Jones. But I got to say after I finished with it I was quite happy with how it turned out. I based the colors of the circus off of Deadmans first page and I think it flows nicely even though its done by two different colorist

On the first panel I wanted to emphasize the fall and hitting the roller coaster so I used RED in that hit mark instead of the usual yellow that I use for such things ( as scene in the next panel ) this kind of shows the intensity and sugggest Blood, which their would be.

I also GOT to mention how cool it is for me to see Storm Shadow a US Character taking on Classic UK characters like Captain Cambell, code name SKIP and Albert Jones Code name Stakeout. The stories that mean the most to me are these stories that mix the two generations. I just love it when we see the two clash.

This is one of my favorite Pages but..................
Crowd Scenes ARRGHHHH I hate crowd scenes ( as seen in panel 4 and 5 ) but I am happy with how it came out but I was so dreading this page when I was doing it LOL.
So I mentioned that this is one of my favorite pages, why? well look at all the First generation ACTION FORCE characters on this page

We got Albert Jones and Skip taking on STORM SHADOW then we have Quarrel talking to SCOUT with DOC SVENS INGLESEN and Jammer again in the Background. So that is 6 first generation guys on this one page.

nothing to say that I didnt say above just cool that so many old characters still showed up in the comics and didnt dissapear.

Just love seeing Quarrel take on Storm Shadow, she fares ok but it clearly shows that she isnt a match. I like this, just makes Quarrel cool!

This story was just as much about Storm Shadow as it was first generation Action force characters

Visually I also love seeing storm Shadow diving into the blue water, I struggle with the water scenes but I am quite pleased with the end results.

all in all I just love this story as it has so many of the old charaters mixing in with STORM SHADOW , we dont necessary see moondancer and chopper but they are mentioned in the first issue of this story in the jet scenes.

Okay Ill quit rambeling now!
