Hello all. For the people that own the ultimate guide to G.I. Joe 1982-1994 by Mark Bellomo. How is the book? Is it worth the money?
Thanks all. Amazon.com: The Ultimate Guide to G.I. Joe 1982-1994: Identification and Price Guide (Ultimate Guide to G.I. Joe 1982-1994: Identification & Price Guide) (9780896899223): Mark Bellomo: Gateway |

I have the 1st edition and it works great for me. I hear the second edition is better. Pick it up!

Awesome and yes it is.
Do a search on it and there's definitely a thread or two with more thoughts on it including mine. Best thing to do if you have a local Border's or Barnes & Nobles or something like that is check it out there and judge for yourself and them pick it up on Amazon for the discounted price. |

I have the first version and it has been invaluable. I recommend the second version, however, because the pics are better and it has more "extras" for the same price. I bought some joes that had broken o-rings and could never have matched up all the right parts together without it.

I drool over mine all the time. Archive sites are cool, but a book you can flip through is a lot more fun

As far as books about collecting toys go, it's a masterpiece. Compared to, say, Lonesome Dove, it's not much.
Mark does a great job--although I liked the asides & editorializing more in the 1st edition, the photography and extra materials are magnificent in the 2nd ed. |
