Yeah, pretty self explanatory. Spread the love-
Mine Issue 21- The whole thing is a work of art, but the final page, in my opinion, not only changed the storyline for three characters, but also changed the series. This wasn't just some toy ad anymore. Slaughter Vs Nemesis Enforcer II- Pissed, angry and irrate, Sgt Slaughter dedicates an a$$ whopping, move by move! SE vs SS in Spy Troops- Ninja's kick arse, plain and simple. But when a decapitation turns into someone activating the other's smoke grenades, you KNOW it's going to be tight. Issue 6 Cover of the TF/Joe X-Over from Dreamwave- Yeah, I'd like to say the whole thing, but SE vs Megs holding Prime's disconnected head is epic in every sense of the word. The Commander is victorious- The Coil is destroyed without Cobra lifting a finger. A weapon of mass destruction like never before is ready to be activated. His enemies are either imprisoned or dead, and he has just killed a thorn. Cobra Commander is the Palpatine of terrorists, the Naraku of toys, the Lex Luthor of snakes, and he is in top form in this epic moment that was the true climax of the original DD series. WWIII- Love it or hate it, there is so much going on, so many moments of "I remember that guy" and "so they finally brought them into the storyline" that it is completely worth every single second of waiting. The Commander has indeed threatened the entire world, and only a select group of heroes stand in his way. They'll never give up. They'll stay till the job is done. GI Joe is there. "Don't tell our parents"- Barrel Roll and his brother both joined the military, but whereas one would sacrifice his life to save his country, the other would give it to save his own. Regardless of their levels of courage and commitment, when Barrel Roll's "final" wish is for his brother's possible involvement with Cobra to be stricken from the records for their parents, casuing Blackout to abort a killshot, it shows how mature this storyline can really be. Everything up till the end of Reloaded- SE was a BEAST. A CREDIBLE and enjoyable Rock n Roll who was easily on of my favorites. A Commander that was ruthless and somehow sympathetic in his goals. Then it all went to crud... So, my fellow Joe fans... What are your favorites? |

Master and Apprentice vol II ending-Everything comes full circle as Snake Eyes finally gives Storm Shadow leadership of the Arashikage. This story wasn't the best, and was not as good as vol1, but the ending, Storm Shadow becoming the Phoenix Master, was a long time coming. Not to mention, after years, Storm Shadow finally becomes a joe and defeats his brainwashing(well this was earlier, but well you guys know).
Ace vs Wild Weasel-This issue was awesome. Artwork needed some refinement(I do not like it when artists reference an F-15 when trying to draw an F-14), but the level of detail that the story had, and the fact that it was a lesson about the planes themselves that kids could learn, made this issue stellar. There was more to the comic than just toy vehicles fighting, Ace and Wild Weasel definitely had a serious rivalry in this one. If an ace F-14 pilot were to take on a skilled A-10 pilot, it would probably be similar to this comic issue. Well done on Hama's part. DW Transformers vs Gi Joe vol1-"There are only 2 things that can stop bleeding, fire and time. And right now, I don't have time"-'NUFF SAID |

And yeah, pretty much all of that DW book was just plain stellar, but that moment was incredible. |
