If really want to pursue this in a way that makes sense, you have to find out who the SHIPPER that HTS uses.
That is who you'd have to contact and find out why they have the policy of not shipping to APO/FPO. If the shipper says they do, then (and only then) does it become an HTS policy and there is ammunition backing up your point.

I was in Iraq for two deployments and Bigbadtoystore.com will ship to APOs I believe. They will typically always have what HTS has, with the exception of the SDCC stuff.
If they ship to a warzone, I have to imagine they'll ship to family housing in Germany. Good luck getting your figures in whatever way you can. Tom

Please stop talking. The amount of insider information that you have is exactly zero.
Know how I know this? Because you posted a declassified flyer which was meant for fun as a NEWS ITEM. No one would ever tell you anything because the VERY FIRST THING you would do is post it here. Probably incorrectly. |

This is kinda a moot point. Even if they could ship Slaughter to you at a military installation. do you really think you had a chance at getting him anyway? Very few people even in the US itself got one of these through HTS. The collector's club had them, do they ship to APO's? You had an opportunity there.
Why the indignation now though? HTS has been around a while, this shouldn't be a knew concept to you that they don't ship to APO's. Unless you've never bought from them before. If so, just keep buying through who you always buy from. |

There's more to the story then just "they won't ship". There has to be a valid reason they won't ship. No company is going to knowingly cost themselvs sales without a valid reason.

Joe Collector's Club, but the shipping expenses are killing our budget. Even Target and Toys 'R Us has been really decent about shipping to us. HTS is the only business I've encountered which will not ship to an APO/FPO. I can't even guess why. |

Can we expect openly gay characters to appear with the new action figures in “Renegades”?

I have the same problem here in the RoK. Though it is not usually to big of a deal to have things shipped stateside then wait for friends/family to ship them over to me.
I always thought/assumed that some companies could not send packages that required you to sign for them. As an aside, amazon does ship most things to APO/FPO but sometimes (alot of the time) they don't. A quick google search (something I've neglected to do before) reveals that there are certain restrictions placed on shipping to APO/FPO addresses and can be found here: Oconus.com - Restrictions on Shipping to APO FPO Addresses Also, apparently some companies have exclusive contracts with whom they send their packages and thus are unable to send packages to military addresses. APO/FPO addresses only accept USPS. This site offers you a stateside address that you can have your packages shipped to and they inturn send them your way overseas. I do not use them, so do not consider this an endorsement from me. It actually looks a bit expensive. They do appear to be recognized by the USPS and the BBB. APO Box Shipping - Get a US address to ship to your military APO FPO Well that was pretty lengthy and for all I know you had already known all of this... Haha. Hope it helps. |

Didn't you know? Mindbender has been un-gayified for Renegades.

We military families have to be resourceful, because even though most companies or merchants are appreciative to our armed forces, every once in a while we encounter one which is indifferent or even openly hostile. Usually due to some political ideology, and not because they don't want to make money. And that's perfectly within their rights to refuse us service if that's what they want. It's nothing I'm not used to. I'm interracially married, and have been denied service in restaurants. I understand that the owner can refuse service to me, but he better not blame it on his produce supplier. HTS is well within rights to refuse service to APO/FPO customers, but I wish they wouldn't blame it on their shipper. If HTS disagrees with this policy, then I would encourage them to change shippers at their first opportunity. |
