| Happy, happy, joy, joy!! Mini-comics
As many of you recall, I was desperately searching for the four mini-comics that came with the 92-93 Battle Corps figures, written by Larry Hama.
They are very hard to find. The loose ones on ebay go for $$$$$
Hiss Tank member Vega-1 had three of the four, he sent them too me to scan and send back.
The last one, Jungle Fury was evading me for months. I found the carded figures on ebay that had the comic, but everyone wanted $20 plus for them.
I figured I'd have to pay to get the last one, so I bid... then I kept getting outbid, and outbid!!!! Grrrrr... I even had an auction canceled by a shady seller who claimed he worked out a deal offline with a collector to buy his entire set.
However I finally found a carded Cross Country Battle Corps figure with the Jungle Fury comic for $15 plus $5 shipping. Expensive... yes, but I figured it was my only way to get the last comic I needed for my digital collection.
Now I have every issue!!! Well... almost... I still need the Starduster issue 3 that came with the GI Joe cereal. But that's probably going to be impossible.
So I'm going to look at the positive. Hehe.

By the way... I bet I could re-sell the figure and/or mini comic and recoup some of my money. I only made a tiny slit on the side of the weapon's tree bubble to remove the comic.
