Hey, dudes! If this is in the wrong forum, just let me know and I'll remove and move it somewhere else. The only other place I could think of was maybe video games? Anyhow.
For those of you who aren't horrible nerds, a MUSH is a text-based online game. Think of a modern MMO + a tabletop game (D&D) + Zork. Players interact, roleplay, have sweet laser battles, etc. Like a MUD, but with character interaction.
So, if you want to roleplay it up online, there is a place for you. Here's our general ad:
Red and Blue lasers fly over the White packed snow and ice of the Arctic, impacting ski-equipped tanks and gun-laden snowmobiles. Machine-gun fire dents the surface of an ancient Mayan temple, where men in blue uniforms are trying to steal an ancient secret. The year is 198X, the Year of The Snake.
G.I. Joe is the codename for America's highly-trained special missions team -- their mission: to thwart Cobra, a ruthless terrorist organization bent on world domination. Will you fight for America and enlist with G.I. Joe, or will you mount up with Cobra to topple the decadent capitalist world order?
Based on the Marvel comics and Sunbow cartoons, G.I. Joe: A Real American Hero MUSH is an innovative, intuitive playing field, with all of the characters, vehicles and weapons you love and remember. Feature Character applications will enjoy a new breed of application: short, to the point and thought-provoking. Original Character applicants can start out as a vicious Cobra Blueshirt or a heroic G.I. Joe Greenshirt and work their way up the command ladder through RP. It's never been a better time to be a G.I. Joe fan -- now is the time to enlist!
