Worried about missing Joe-Con

Well, as soon as get of my beloved HissTank forum, I'll be making my plane and hotel reservations for Joe-Con. I was just wondering if any one else is worried on missing Joe-Con due to airlines going bankrupt and canceling flights that I've been seeing on the news lately.

You should have a backup plan just in case that would happen. Maybe a bus or train would be possible. Or if you could get some people to go with you, you could carpool and change drivers every so often...

Luckily I live in Texas.. I'm about an hour out from the place. This does fall into the "suck" catagory for those of you who would have to drive a long distance if something should happen to your flights.

Whoa! Worrying about too much....

The flights were mainly AA canceling MD-80 and MD-88 flights due to safety inspections. They should be up to full capacity soon. I really hate those airplanes....they are basically hold overs from a 1950 or 60s design. I'm a Northwest flyer and they still run the DC-9s, mainly out of Detroit. I will go out of my way to stay off these planes. I wish they would just replace them with the A319s quicker.

Nope, not worried at all. I'm not worried about Northwest closing at all. I cashed in some of my miles from work for a ticket and will be arriving Wednesday night. Hope to see ya there.

Edit: Just heard Frontier filed for bankruptcy. oops.... lol!!

I'm worried about missing it, but it's mostly due to my work schedule and us being short 1-2 people, so I likely won't be able to get that weekend off. Sucks too, because it's the weekend immediately before a blocked leave period of almost three weeks...
