let's talk about the dumbest Vehicles in Joe history...

i'm sure everything is someone's favorite, but man have there been some really silly vehicles in Joe history. re-reading the Marvel comics you can generally tell the ones Hama thought were lame; one issue brief intro, never seen again, ala the Hydro Sled.

my first one up ~ The Road Toad. how pointless is it. it's a tow-truck, except it has to be, wait for it, towed.

ad into that the bright red gun and the way the operator has to sit sideways in it, and you have a recipe for a vehicle i thought was lame even as a little kid.

Hey, I liked the Road Toad...

...but what about the H.A.V.O.C.? I seem to remember it getting lots of play in the cartoon, but come on. "Heavy Articulated Vehicle Ordnance Carrier?" What does that even mean? A detachable one-man hovercraft? The driver needs to lay prone? And why does most of the armament face backwards? Lame.

Wow, do I agree with you on the road toad! I picked one up on clearance back in '88 for like $1 and it was the least used of all my vehicles.

I will now submit = the Cobra Battle Barge!

Was it a battle station or a vehicle? To me it always seemed like the place where 3 cobra troops were sent as punishment for doing a bad job! LOL
Crappy armament, no shielding or protection, and 3 guys being shoe-horned onto a "barge" = awful!

I own one but I agree 100% Only cool thing that has anything to do with a Havoc is when chuckles throws the missile.

I liked the HAVOC....

....but I totally agree about the missiles facing backwards and the drivers laying down?? What the hell?
