Was there any cartoon for Action Force?
It would be interesting to see it if there was one. |

The Sunbow Cartoon was released under the Action Force moniker, with Action Force appropriate stuff dubbed in.

Did they re-dub the voices or use the original? If I'm not mistaken most of the "Joes" that got featured in the show/movie were not released under the AF line... interesting. Thanks for the info |

They would use the original voices until someone referenced the Joes, then "Action Force" would be dubbed in (e.g. "Are you aware that 'Action Force' and NATO are conducting wargames in that area?").
There was a vid on youtube that gave a bunch of examples, but it got taken off for terms of use violation (?!?!?). Speaking of which, (and not to get off the subject) what was the Battle cry for the October Guard? I couldn't make it out.

when the Joe Movie was first released on DVD in region 2,it was regular for the first 20 mins then confusingly switched to the AF dub not mentioning Joe.I couldnt wait until a fully American Joe version to come out here. I remember getting Sgt Slammer and his TTT......ah the memories. the 83 and 84 Joes were released here and in the UK on solely Action Force red/yellow cards..the 85 Joes the figures and vehicles(some pre 85 stuff like the rattler/whale etc) had the ARAH type packaging with Action Force the International Hero instead of GI Joe The Real American Hero. also nationalities on the file cards were changed.these are the ones I remember Flint-English Lady Jaye-Irish Footloose-Scottish Airtight-German Dial Tone-French Shockwave-English Scoop-Irish Crazylegs-French cant really remember any others. |

'Full Force'.
Sgt. Slaughters name was changed to Sgt. Slammer as well... Which was odd. I've got a load of filecards somewhere in my loft (attic) which changes the birthplaces of most of the Joes and Cobra guys to places in Britain and Europe, notable examples I remember being Monkeywrench being Welsh and Roadpig coming from Canvey Island (which is in Essex... about 30mins away from where I live...)

In "Arise Serpentor Arise" I think the Oktober Guard used "Yo Ivan" in one scene, and "Full Forcesky" in another scene, but, I doubt either of these were real battle cries, more like joining in with the others.
