Ever since the 25th Anniversary line came out last summer we all have vented at one point or another regarding the lack of figures of our beloved Joe line. I don't blame Hasbro, they are a business trying to make a buck. In a way I can understand why Joe figures are being produced in low numbers, to play it safe. Every summer the toy aisles are full of movie related stuff that hardly sells as much as retailers would like, that they wind up putting stuff on clearance just to get them off the shelves. P.O.TC. and Spiderman were perfect examples this past summer. StarWars was way out of control at WalMarts, that to this day I wonder where they all went. Hasbro is playing it safe, they know that got something good in their hands. Remember this line was something they wanted to do for the fans, and I thank them very much for what they have done. I am even more thankful the line went beyond the inital twenty five figures. We as adults (majority of collectors) have to see it from their side. Hasbro is a company that like all others have to please the stock holders and C.E.O.s, the ones that get our hard earned money. Just yesterday I read about WalMarts new list. Already people are all for it, hate it or are just disappointed that their favorite character hasn't shown up yet. Give them time, eventually the majority will get released but you have to be patient just like when you go hunting for these figures. No one can please everyone. But just remember if it wasn't for Hasbro and their gift of the 25th line to us collectors we probably wouldn't even be on these forums.
Thank you, Hasbro from a fan that appreciates what you've done for us, see you at Joe Con 2008

Thank you Hasbro Whore for putting things into perspective for us. You are right and I too would like to express my sincere thanks to Hasbro for doing a fantastic job so far on our beloved Real American Heroes. Cheers, I'm looking forward to 25 more years of G.I. Joe!

Tomax and Xamot; I thank you for once again giving back my favorite figures of all time. Plus, such surprises as Fred/Scarface, a great Wild Weasel, an amazing Snow Job, a unbelievable IG Destro; not to mention a kick @$$ Firefly. Thank You Hasbro!

I never grew up! Never really stopped buying Joes, but I am really glad they introduced the 25th, as I was really not liking the JvC, VvV, and DTC stylings.
Very awesome product they have now. Plus, us old school collectors can get our ARAH stuff for cheap now on eBay, as everyone just seems to buy the 25th stuff there these days! Thanks Hasbro! |

Thanks Hasbro for taking all of our money, making these things hard to find and ignoring our pleas for certain figures and movie elements!
You ignore because you care. |

They aren't the ones buying them all up and selling them on eBay!

I would like to thank Hasbro for allowing me to pass this toyline along to my son...and at the same time, keep me young.
Also...we have introduced my brother's son...and my brother in law's son to the wonder of GI Joe. Thank you...we have had our fill of them fools in pajamas who call themselves Power Rangers.

Well, on that note, I too have to thank Hasbro.
I am putting away a nice little stash of Joe figures for him when he gets older! |
