I went through my accessories box and found about 12 of those Fridge mail away cards.

I'm in a different boat then you guys. The only thing I've ever sent away for was the pac/rats. I was never really into the fridge or sgt. slaughter character when I was little, maybe it was because they lacked cool weapons. Now i'm wishing the 25th line would come out with them.

I remember those. And now today we have Star Wars, Transformers and Marvel Heroes done in that style; I'm sure we'll get GI Joes done that way for the movie too. They won't be Robot Heroes, or Galaxy Heroes ... they'll be "International Heroes" LOL
Quick look through ebay auctions, since I don't have the Fridge...they're going for about $20 shipped the way bidding's going so far. Might have to pick one up for my 80's collection. |

Holy crap! I totally forgot about Smurfs cereal. I loooooved that stuff. I can even still sort of remember what it tasted like, but not completely (of course that was over 20 years ago!) but man did I love eating it. I ate the crap out of it when I was a kid.
GI Joe cereal was okay. I remember it was sort of like Cap'n Crunch but had a bit different texture and of course a different shape. And to get back on topic.....I remember calling The Fridge, but for some reason I didn't end up ordering him. I know I wanted to, but I didn't. I had to wait another year or so and I got him in a trade instead.
