I want to buy one of these but am discovering more and more how 25th anniv figs do not fit at all in most old school playsets/vehicles. Is this another example where only old school joes fit properly? If so I really hope we get a 25th anniv APC to load up our troops on.

I'm very sure 25th Ann. Joes will have a problem sitting. Heck, even most figures past 1984 have problems sitting in it due to the curved seats.
However, I'd love an updated version too as (despite the problem stated) it is one of my favorite vehicles. |

The only problems with vintage figures I've had are with the front seats. They fit fine in the back rows. I imagine that you could get 25th figures in there, although perhaps not as many.

I think it might be a slim chance though....getting a 25th APC... if you look most of the Vehicles released are vehicles that were released also between 1998 to 2005 with the exception for 2 or 3 , but the HISS, SHARC ,AWE Striker, and the Conquest , we've seen rereleased....you know what I mean ?

I think the 25th vehicles being release are the ones they have rereleased over the years and they know the models are still good. There has been what 2 APCs released, they may not even have the molds for it anymore.

there's is a thread for 25th combatible vechs in the 25th section folks:
http://www.hisstank.com/forum/showthread.php?t=5223 She's not on that list (APC). I am biding on one now, but I'd be willing to bet any 25th w/o a fixed crotch will not sit in it correctly. I had a bitch of a time getting my early non-fixed crotch Joes in the night ops, desert and jungle hummers that are only a few years old. Not to mention when I went to put my 25th Baroness in my old HISS, man I was pissed! :( .

Before I packed up my APC (I am preparing to move), I did have a crotch fixed Hawk in the driver's seat and crotch fixed Stalker sitting in the back and locked in with the "seat belt". Diaper crotch figures will probably have a tough time - definitely won't fit up front, but may be able to sit in the back although they will likely spread their legs to take up multiple spaces
