So its not like these guys were blue shirts or Vipers 1st.
Whats the process for being officially among the ranks? I mean aside from being related to Zartan. I always thought it was like getting into any other outlaw mc...hang around the bar, ride...and prove yourself. But they are honorary Cobra members correct? So do these guys have any sort of "official" steps to take? I mean I dont think they pass a "basic training" or anything right? |

this question was answered when monkey wrench and thrasher were the only ones left standing after zartan had "trials" this was all portrayed in I think the sunbow cartoons but I might be wrong I just remember that.
as far as getting invited to those trials...you need a rap sheet...and street credit and a long successful history of mayhem and destruction |

Dreadnoks are not affiliated with nor do they have any loyalty to Cobra. They are mercenaries. They carry out tasks/missions for money. That and occasional Grape Soda.
In the Front Line comics Zanya (Before everyone knew she was Zartan's daughter) was just a street thug who was introduced to the dreadnoks by her boyfriend (a street hustler). Upon meeting Monkeywrench, Gnawgahyde and Zanzibar they were told they could try out for the 'noks. Monkeywrench stated that they were "vouched for" by members of "the Atlanta 'Noks". So it sounds like you can be added to a nation-wide network of Dreadnoks (biker gang) by reputation or street cred. That's all I have to contribute to the discussion. DD

The same way you join any biker gang.
Cobra is just one of their biggest clients.

Some of the more picky Biker gangs, well-they consider themselves picky-anyways, have a trial period where a "prospect" acts as a sort of intern for lack of a better word.

I usually go to the bike show at the Javitz Center in NYC each year and there are alot of long faces and blank vests at the vendors...guys selling t-shirts and promoting...those are "prospects". Anyway I was just thinking about joing the Noks...cant eat the donuts and soda though, high blood sugar...I guess that keeps me out? |
