Not much left from my original collection, but yeah I've got some stuff. I pretty much focus on MOTUC these days. My biggest collections are my Transformers, Star Wars, and Joes. Secondary collections are He-Man, M.U.S.C.L.E.S, TMNT, Dick Tracy, Real Ghostbusters, and stuff like that.

I grew up in the era when the 3 3/4" figure was introduced. I had the larger stuff 12" Joes, 8" Mego. But it was Micronauts, then Star Wars, then GI Joe that had the figures and all the vehicles and stuff to go along with them at a price point that was reasonable enough that my family actually got them for me for birthdays, holidays, etc. I have plenty of stuff from before then, during that time, and since. |

It started with StarWars for me, then He-Man then various cheap toys lol then came the rest Transformers/GI Joe, M.A.S.K. Starcom, etc. etc.
But besides the cartoon its that militairy theme in GIJoe that excites me, using realistic guns and all & its just something most of us just grew up with. And Footloose was my first figure I got and still is one of my fav ones cause he is a basic trooper with standard bdu. |
