25th or ROC, figs and filecard. Vintage, just give me all the parts. Not a troop builder, but buy a PIT Commando if I see one.

-Completist - Only when it comes to 1982-1986, then the 1987 figures. After that, I buy what I like.
Exceptions: I don't know if I'll ever bother trying to get the Missile Command HQ or gliders, since it'll be very hard to get them in the kind of condition I want. I did order a Missile Command HQ repro and would likely get glider repros as well. I kind of figure they "don't count" because they're paper/foam. -Army Builder - Like someone else said, more of a squad builder. -MOC - Nope, except in the rare case. I didn't open my Wave 3 Combat Heroes, silver PDD or variant Wraith, but if I was really interested in displaying them, I would have. I've opened tons of vintage stuff (!). -Company Man - To a certain degree I guess. I think the other 1:18 military stuff is cool, but I've mainly stayed away from non-Joe stuff. When I do branch out I almost always end up selling it in the end when it gets too crazy. -1:18 Scale - Again, only to a certain degree. To me, it's more important that they're "Joe-like" in quality/articulation (eg: the Hot Toys Aliens/Colonial marines... although they are easily broken, they do fit in imo), but then again, I have started to buy more vintage SW Kenner figures, but that's a nostalgia thing. I do get the occasional 1/6th figure and love the new MOTUC toys as well. -1:6 Scale - Sideshow Joes brought me into 1/6th scale. I've bought some of the Sideshow SW and HT Predator stuff too, and will probably be getting the new T2 Arnie figure as well. -Diorama-mania - Never been interested in this, though I love seeing what other collectors do. I particularly loved Violent Fix's diostories. -Vintage - Primarily, yes.

-NWO - 25th/RoC for ME.
I wasn't originally that way, but most of my purchasing has been going this route. It's hard to go back when 25th/RoC just looks better. -Aesthetically Pleasing - if it strikes my fancy. Kind of HAVE to do this, thanks to a limited budget. -Land/Sea/Air - preferences I generally stay away from "sea" troops and vehicles...probably a regional thing since there's not a whole lot of water around where I live, thus not as much inspiration. |

I'm an army building kind of guy. I want to build as much as I can and then create funky battle scenes, Transformers and G.I. Joe's alike.

I am a casual collector. I normally will just buy one of any given figure no matter how cool they are. I think the only figure I have purchased more than one was Helix (parts swap). I have a bunch of Destros because my friend BvH gives me them as a joke.
