A and C are the same = stealing from the store. And both are done by major frakking a$$clown douchebags!!!
I suppose I loathe group A more because you see the results of their handiwork on the pegs, so it's like they are taunting you. Plus, as far as the store is concerned, the item you want is in stock, so they won't order more until the repacked one has sold. Repackers are frakking jerks.

scalpers are harmless. in fact, collectors are far worse than scalpers. at least scalpers afford you the opportunity to purchase it. collectors hoard when they know something is in demand because they can't stand not buying 11 of something knowing others want it -- if you want it, the collector has to have multiples of it at your expense.
the gripe about scalpers has and always will be asinine when collectors are other collectors worst enemy. But yeah, hoarding collectors--regardless of being long-term scalpers or not--are banes of the hobby. Isn't one of each enough? Okay, maybe two: one for playing/posing, one for keeping MOC. Beyond that, it's ridiculous. Except maybe for army builder figures. |

Can't we just have a thread called Repacker threads & rants?
Where all the repack pics and tough talkin' fan boys can be on one thread? Oh wait, we do! I keep hearing stories about a repack where a guy replaced a cobra CLAW with one made from paper. Sorry, it may be wrong, but that's also hilarious. I must add, I troop build and sometimes feel like a hoarder, although I only have 14 Crimson Guard. Although, there are collectors who are long-term scalpers. They speculate as to what's hot, hoard it, store it for years, and then sell them at astronomical prices when the stuff they have are no longer in production but are still traded and sold as if they were jewelry.
