So I went to TRU yesterday, not even looking for Joes. I was looking to get something for my neice, her birthday is on the 29th, and is turning 8. Anyway back on topic. I get there and the place looks like a frickin ghost town. I don't remember TRU ever looking like this in the past. I know after Christmas they get pretty well cleaned out, but it's almost March now. Is it the fact that they're getting ready for a Spring Reset, or is this company going belly up soon? I hate the fact that I can't go to a "Toy Store" and find anything worth buying. I saw more baby clothes than anything else. Anyone else notice this trend with TRU lately?

My tru has looked like that for a while now. They did however finally get some joes in, but for the most part tru has had alot of empty shelves. Correct me if i am wrong but didn't alot of them close down already? I was under the impression they were on their way to going out of business...

The two near me both seem fairly full of stuff, just not stuff that I want.

Toys R Us Is A Joke. There Management For Another Billion Dollar Company Are Social Idiots And Rejects. they like so many others don't want to do the research on what to stock, or hire people with sense. there staff is straight off the streets , i bet they steal all the hot items and sell them on ebay. Thats Why The Online Toy Stores Are Becoming Millionaires Overnight!!!!

I remember the days when a trip to TRU was a treat.
It's sad to see them today, but I'm surprised they've lasted as long as they have with Target and Walmart selling toys for less. The last thing I remember buying from them was the Cover Girl/Hannibal/Spirit DTC comic pack over a year ago. |

I stopped going to TRU, mine never has anything. I'm assuming next month when their exclusive are supposed to hit retail things will turn around.

TRU couldn't keep up with wal mart and targets cheaper toy prices. I am surprised too that tru is even lasted this long...

My TRU hasn't had a steady flow of new product since summer time. Only new stuff they had during the Holidays were store exclusives. Single pack Joes were seen once, back in July and nothing but 5 packs, up until January when singles started showing up again, 1 case at a time and wave 1 comic packs. Star Wars was only Saga Legends and TRU Exclusives. Now wave 7 & 7.5 are showing up, so the 08 waves should hit next year.
