Card Files

Hello again again again.
メタルギアソリッドの戦士、JOHNNYです!

So as most of you know, I am fairly new to Joes. I started collecting and been keeping the file card intact. I have seen that most people have been cutting them out. WHAT ARE YOU DOING! There is some good artwork on the front, why are you ruining it?!

I happen to keep one of everything I buy MOC. Thus, I don't ruin the cart art by opening the package either. And the file cards are also intact.

Are there certain ways in opening them without destroying the front? I usually do a bad ripping job of the front and wish I could preserve them better.

The file cards are meant to be cut out :o

Use an exacto knife to cut the bubble off of the card if you don't want to damage card art.

Buy two of them, one to rip into and one to keep MOC. That is the best and easiest way to have the best of both worlds.

these days with the "interweb" and all the file cards don't seem to mean as much. There are so many sites that you can view the cards on or even make your own. They are not as big of a deal now I guess.

I hear you all, but sometimes I like to have something a little more physical so I can look em' over, though reading them once is enough...I really just like the art a whole bunch.

Maybe next time I purchase a figure I will use a heat-gun or a hair dryer to loosen the glue. Do you think that would work? I really just hate tearing up the packaging.
