I bought a bunch of the cards when they first premiered at GenCon (I was there to promote my company's products). The cards are great, but I just couldn't get into the game. I think it was geared for kids, as it didn't offer a very deep or detailed game system. I was very disappointed.

That having been said, there may be another GI Joe CCG around the time the movie hits theaters. I've heard rumblings in the industry about this, though nothing's official.

That would be amazing if that happened. I collect the cards because of the Joes awesome artwork and I wish they would still make more. Where exactly did you heard "rumblings" from? I would like to read if it was an article or something where you got your source from. Very cool though, SW has like 3 mini figures and a starter TCG set I believe so G.I. Joe should have one too!

Flint, where could I see some of that artwork for the V vs V game? That is the reason I collected to.

Hey flint....which set are you missing cards from and which cards. I purchased about 10 boxes of each series and i've got a lot of commons and some hologram cards as well. Also I was wondering which gi joe card sets you have. I've got the one with all the card/box art from '86, the impel set from '90 and then i've got a 20th anniversary card set with special cards.

As cheesy as this sounds, I'm really not at liberty to reveal my sources on this issue. All I can say is that it was a fellow game designer who's in the know, so to speak. That's why it should be simply taken as rumor at this point. Even he said that it may or may not come to fruition.

He also mentioned a GI Joe tabletop RPG, which excites me greatly. My company's upcoming RPG, Cartoon Action Hour: Season 2, handles the GI Joe cartoon beautifully. However, I prefer the GI Joe comics to the cartoon, so it would be nice to have a game system that caters to the more realistic atmosphere demonstrated there. There are RPGs that can do this, but it requires more work.

I need these cards still...
G.I. Joes:

Shipwreck (Sailor)
Duke (Field Commander)
Gung-Ho (Front Line Marine)
Lifeline
Scarlett
Snake Eyes (Covert Mission Specialist)

Cobras:
Rattler
Baroness
Blackout
Cobra Commander (Enemy leader)
Croc Master
Destro (Weapons Supplier)
Dr. Mindbender
Storm Shadow (Ninja Leader)
Zartan (Master Of Disguise)

Total Cards Needed- 15

These are from the the 2004 or whatever year set, the G.I. Joe TCG. Most of them (if not all) are holo/rares.

That is fine. If you would ever find it in your heart thought to tell, you could PM me, but i'm just saying. As for everything else, that would be AWESOME!!! Would the table top thing be used with Mini-Figures? Also, what do you mean by Cartoon Action Hour? What exactly is this?
