Hey guys, it's that time of year again. The D/FW, San Antonio, and Houston branches of the GIJCC are holding their third show March 15th and 16th of the year. Last year was the first time in the D/FW area and it was a pretty big success.
This years show has changed venues and is going to be held at the Arlington Convention Center in Arlington Texas right next to Six Flags and the Ballpark. The show sponsors have even secured a block of rooms at a very reduced rate for those who are travelin in town for the show.
Admission is only $5 (as is parking @grumpy@ ). There will be custom contest for 1/18th figures, 1/6th figures, and 1/6th vehicles. There are prizes for first ($50 GC or merch) and second ($25 GC or merch) for each category supplied by vendors like myself (Alyosha' Corner), Smalljoes and many others. Every contest entrant will also receive a sample pack of 1/18th weapons from Marauder John at Marauder Inc.
Events include a 1/6th Tank Rodeo (you drive 'em), a Basics of Resin Casting Class Saturday and Basics of Mold Making Class Sunday (by yours truly), and a Professional Diorama Photography Class as well. These classes are all free, but seating is somewhat limited so there will most likley be a sign up sheet.
There are 25 dealer tables that I am aware of, offering items ranging from 1/18th figures or all styles, custom parts (me again), and 1/6th figures and custom parts and clothing. It's been a long while since we've last spoken...
I just wanted to let you know that it's really good
to hear about this SHOW once again my good friend!
I didn't make it out to last year's show but I'm gonna try
my very darnest to make it to this years event,
and much thanks to you man... for givin' everybody
a "heads-up" on this very very special event in Texas!!

and full card backings that we talked about since we
last talked a long while back!?? It has been a while and
would love to try and seen if we could work out a trade

Will you be bringing any Sarge kits with you to the show? I first saw yours at the show last year. I had emailed a few times, but you had been out of them. I am hoping that they make a Sarge that will come with one of the movie packs, but I just can't wait for one. Besides, yours is better !! | |

Let me see what I can do about those kits. I'd decided not to sell the kits anymore because I finally finished the whole figure, but I may have one or two left that I can piece together. I can't promise anything though.

Just wanted to let anyone who may be planning to attend, that I will be clearancing a buddy of mines extra collection out at the booth. There is literally a ton of stuff (lots of complete vehicles, Night Force figs, etc...) that I will have on display so come on out this weekend and visit. | |
