| I bought a huge lot of old Joes and vehicles from a guy off of craigslist. I went over to his house and he had a huge rubbermaid tote with a bunch of vehicles and a another one with figures.
He had no idea what they were worth and I asked him how much he wanted for all of it. He said $50 and I said sold.
Low and behold at the bottom was this little gem. It was complete all folded up at the bottom. No box, but big deal I got the Cobra Missile command set!!!
Man I got the entire original 13 both the 82 and 83 versions, Mickey Mouse Cobra Commander and regular CC, Destro, Baroness, and a ton of other guys and there accessories, a Whale, Skystriker, Original JOe headquarters, (2) Vamp one's and Two's ,2 whirlwinds, 2 Hals, 2 MMS, 2 Claws, 2 SNAKE Armors, a Falcon Glider, 2 Flak's. manta, polar bear, APC, water moccasin, 2 jumps, 1 Mobat, 1 RAM, wolverine, just about everything released in 82, and 83, and a few from 84. Some stuff was missing or broken, but can be fixed and I had some stuff that I had won in accessory lots.
I almost felt bad for the guy, but it was a huge score for only $50!!! Man a complete one in the box for $1200? Too rich for my blood...if I was going to pay that much it would be an unopened USS FLAGG. |
