So I have been lurking here for a while and I have finally decided to come out of the shadows.
A little bit about me. I only collect the 25th line. about 2 years ago I sold off ALL my old Joes. I am married and my wife fully supports my Joe collecting, Because "They look good on a shelf". In fact I have 15 cobra troops, 4 of which were purchased by me, 10 by my wife as christmas presents (she kept beating me to the store) and 1 by my mother-in-law (yeah... I was just as shocked). Best Joe related moment: walking the hall of the San Diego Comic convention comic convention and running into Sgt. Slaughter Biggest Joe related regrets: Not buying the silver and gold Destros at the same convention I think that is enough for now... I'll be around ;) Last edited by PDGorath; 02-13-2008 at 12:20 AM.. |

You've chosen a great place to come out of the shadows into.
Everybody's very nice and it's a comfortable place. Hisstank.com is like a warm hug from a giant bunny.

This is my first night posting as well. I loved the line from about 82 to 86, the figures, the vehicles, cartoon, etc. About a month and a half ago I was with my daughter at Target and stumbled across the 25th line.
I had the same emotions as I did looking at it when I was eight. I have since gone a little crazy and started a pretty strong collection in a short time. It has been a great hobby. I am working on some custom vehicles to display shortly. There has been some inspiring work on this site. |
