Scenario Rules of engagement: Red Zone: When you begin the game, your team’s total HP count will only reflect your active characters, troops and vehicles. If you don’t activate your reinforcements and your hp reaches zero, you lose. Your team must be in the Red zone in order to complete the Red zone objectives. If you leave the Red zone before you finish those objectives, you may go back to the Red zone for 15 Move points. You will automatically go back to the green zone when the objectives are completed. Green Zone: Each team has three objectives in the Green zone; a Move objective, an Action objective and the bonus objective. They can be done in an order. You may ignore these objectives or complete them. The more objectives you complete the less hurt you have to inflict to win the game. Here's how it works: If you ignore all of the objectives, you must get the other team down to 0hp to win. If you complete one out of three objectives, you need to get the other team down to 20hp to win. If you complete two out of three objectives, you need to get the other team down to 40hp to win. If you complete all three objectives, you need to get the other team down to 60hp to win. Valor Vs Venom G.I. Joe's objectives involve performing heroic acts, while Cobra's objectives involve performing villainous acts. Each objective has three possible outcomes. Valor ending: if the Joe team completes their objective and the Cobra team ignores their objective, this is the "good guys win" outcome. Venom ending: if the Cobra team completes their objective and the Joe team ignores their objective, this is the "bad guys win" outcome. Vs. Ending: If both teams complete their objectives, the outcome is balanced out; bad and good. Example: The Move objective is about the hostages. Cobra wants to kill the hostages, G.I. Joe wants to save the hostages. The hostages are being held in two separate cells, the adults in one cell and the kids in the other cell. *If the Joe team completes the move objective and Cobra ignores the move objective, all the hostages are saved. This is the Valor ending. *If Cobra completes the move objective and The Joe team ignores the move objective, all the hostages are killed. This is the Venom ending. *If both teams complete the move objective, the kids were saved but the adults were killed. This is the Vs. Ending. Points: A Valor ending earns G.I. Joe 2 Valor points. A Venom ending earns Cobra 2 Venom points. A Vs ending earns each team 1 point. These points can be used to purchase special items from Lord Vader's armory (Located in the Rules thread). These items can be used in the next game. So, by performing heroic acts now, the G.I. Joe team can improve their ability to act as Heroes in the next game. And by performing Villainous acts now, the Cobra team can improve their ability to perform evil deeds in the next game. Because both teams have until the end of the game to complete their objectives, the type of ending might not be known till the end of the game. Good luck and good Hunting! Pin down the Joe assault team until reinforcements arrive, activate the compound defenses = 30 Action points + 2 K.O. s 2. Get to the green zone. Move your forces inside the main compound building and set up a defensive perimeter = 30 Move points. Green zone; Main building Objectives: Move: The Joes must pay for their interference in blood! Get to the Lower detention level (Target Zone) and kill the kidnapped families of the scientists = 30 move points. Action: We must secure these bomb components for the glory of Cobra! Get the bomb components safely out of the upper lab level and back to Cobra HQ. = 30 action points. Bonus objective: Professor Logan Richards wants to destroy his half of the research notes. Kill professor Richards before he can destroy his research data. = get him to zero hp. (Richards cannot be Healed.) Complete the Bonus objective and choose a free item from Lord Vader's Armory which can be used immediately. Conditions of victory: 0 objectives: Get the G.I. Joe team to 0hp 1 objective: Get the G.I. Joe team to 20hp 2 objectives: Get the G.I. Joe team to 40hp 3 objectives: Get the G.I. Joe team to 60hp RANGE: 5 MID G.I. Buchanan -15hp Night Force Peirce -15hp Inactive Night Force Walker -15hp Inactive Ayumi Sato -0hp Unconscious Move points: 0 Action points: 0 Available items: *Combat Maneuver: “All units attack” *Combat Maneuver: “Regroup” *Action Command: “Air strike” *Action Command: “Take cover” *Action Command: “Suppressing fire” *Action Command: “Push them back” Red zone; Compound exterior grounds Objectives: 1. Destroy Cobra’s anti aircraft defenses so that reinforcements can arrive = 30 Action points + 2 K.O. s 2. Get to the green zone. Move your forces inside the main compound building and assault the building = 30 Move points. Green zone; Main building Objectives: Move: We must save the kidnapped families of the Scientists. Get to the lower detention level and free the kidnapped prisoners = 30 move points. Action: Cobra must not be allowed to get those bomb components. Blow up the lab and destroy the bomb components. = 30 action points. Bonus objective: Professor Ayumi Sato has been mortally wounded during the firefight. Treat her injuries and keep her alive so she can destroy her half of the research data. =get her up to 20hp. Complete the Bonus objective and choose a free item from Lord Vader's Armory which can be used immediately. Conditions of victory: 0 objectives: Get the Cobra team to 0hp 1 objective: Get the Cobra team to 20hp 2 objectives: Get the Cobra team to 40hp 3 objectives: Get the Cobra team to 60hp |
