Realistically, I won't be spending as much on Joe going forward as I have in the past (at least not on the ROC line). Resolute SE yes for sure - and any old school stuff they work in. Otherwise, none of it really calls to me.
The design team definitely did some great work with the material but it just isn't appealing to me. I would have loved to see a Resolute HISS before this HISS drone. C'est la vie. |

I'm on the fence about the new HISS
I LOVE that Jungle Viper, and that Lava Viper! So glad I passed on the repaint turd that is the Terra Viper. I'm so glad we'll still be getting some Resolute stuff! I didn't like the Night Raven that's out now, so I'm not getting the repaint. I think the different environments are a really cool idea, people will be making some kickass dios. |

Wow.
I hadn't seen that HEAT Viper. That is fantastic. Frag Viper's fuzzy, doesnt look like the original, might be cool though. What's making my brain explode is the Monstro Viper behind the Heat Viper. Why no full pics of that guy? I just bought a vintage one since it was cheap and so goofy. I would honestly buy a modern one. It's just too insane not to. I can't belive that exists. If I may add fuel to the fire, consider this... Mostro-Viper, check. Lowlight, nowhere to be seen. |

It's a new HISS TANK!!! Other than Destro himself, you of all people should be first in line to get one. Is this really a question for you? Besides that, it looks freakin' awesome!!!

It's official. I'm going to have to find a shelf for this line... I'm a big nostalgia collector and the 25th caught my attention as a tribute to ARAH, but these are just too phenomenal of figures to pass up. They don't say "joe" to me in the way the 25th/ME line did, and these aren't even ROC to me (I guess not officially either) but I'm sure I can create space for an "alternate reality" line.
They remind me more of the ultra realistic Team Bravo and other 1:18 scale vehicles... but whatever, awesome figures are awesome figures, and I'm for these!

Some stuff looks great, some of the repaint stuff I will pass on. As others have said, it's an exciting time to be a Joe fan. I just hope the ROC line does well with kids ...

Backpacks = thee coolest ever.
These backpacks hold the greatest detail and sculpting I have yet seen. Paint-apps on these packs really accentuate the figures. Such simple yet unique play-ability features added so much to each figure - just with backpacks. This really gives the 2010 Collection texture you can colorfully see, and also feel, just gazing at all this splendid detail. Its amazing how huge of an improvement can come from improving only one small simple feature - backpacks. To me, these 4-inch Joes are nearing something to the quality of Sideshow Collectibles - yet in miniature. These well-sculpted well-painted truly playable backpacks alone got me definitely onboard for 2010. Here's pictures for you to look closely at the cool backpacks Last edited by Tuskegee Joe; 05-04-2012 at 10:04 AM.. |

Aw, crap in a hat!
They got me again! Just saw high-res pics of the 25th stuff - HEAT, Frag, Toxo, Monstro, and Bio-Viper, as well as a damned Manimal. Didn't realize they were all Hasbro customs, like the Cobra-La ones they had shown at a con last year or so. Gotta wonder...are these done to guage interest, or piss people off who either love or hate the monster stuff? |
