So I just found out that a couple of Walmarts by me ARE NOT going to be carrying ANY ROC stuff AT ALL! I even asked the store manager about it and he just told me that that's what HQ told them. I told him that where was a good base of people who wanted to buy them and he told me, "Sorry, I guess you'll all be out of luck. Try going online." Needless to say I was F#@$ pissed off. I told him I was down shopping at Walmart and all by business was going to Target from now on and all he did was smirk! So no exclusives for MN, unless the new Walmart that they're almost done with will have them. Praying to God! But I still say that we should send a petition to Hasbro stating that we don't want any more Walmart exclusives only Online, Targets, and TRU. At least they're reliable. Any one else with me?
And Admin people if we get enough people together can we create something on the tank to send to hasbro? Thanks John ***Addition*** Sorry to every who thought this was just another stupid rant.Yeah I know, I was just pissed when I wrote this all up. It was probably stupid of me. I know I'm a grown man asking about toys. I was just pissed with the way the manager acted towards me. Plus I've noticed somethings are beginning to be more expensive that other stores, at least here in MN. Like some of their TV's are more than Best Buy even. And alot of it's the inner child in me that can't wait for these exclusives and the fact that alot of Walmarts don't even have anything out yet. That irks me. And of course me being a Minnesota boy I prefer Target over Walmart. But I do think that we should get something together to send to Hasbro about Walmart or something. Yeah I'd smirk at you too. Who cares if they lose one customer, or ten or twenty. Seriously, if you're not shopping there because they don't carry ROC toys, why would anyone take you seriously?
That being said.....screw Wal-Mart. |

What i don't get is that Walmart has the exclusive 2 packs and now we are hearing that Walmart is not going to carry the basic ROC figures?Walmat has lost its mind.I will say this though some Walmarts didn't carry the Star trek or the Terminator lines at all.

yeah, that sucks. Out of the six Walmarts within 30 minutes of my home, two do an excellent job of stocking new/exclusive items, one's a little hit and miss but not bad, and the other three never get anything. It's based on the volume they go through, I believe. The three that don't get anything are supercenters, but are slower stores compared to the other six.
BTW, when exactly are the two-pack WM exclusives supposed to hit? |

I don't know about a ban but a petition telling Hasbro that we want Rise of Cobra toys at our local Walmarts might be a good idea. how can WM not carry these, I've seen them at Walgreens. This issue should be included in the next Hasbro QnA for sure.

I'm all in! WM sucks big time! I was looking all over for the WM 501st Clone Trooper last year and had to go to a WM almost 2 hours away before I finally found 1. My local WM still has nothing ROC related and barely had any 25th stuff either. I wish there was a Target and/or TRU here.

I live in MN and I would love some of the two packs, I guess I'll have to rely on the goodwill of fellow board members and online sellers. As for not buying at Wal-Mart....
Honestly dude, not shopping at Wal-Mart because they don't carry something I want? That'll do what to them? A corporate giant that makes billions? Aside from that Wal-Mart is where I buy my toilet paper, dish soap, I'm not going to change my mode of shopping because of a toy; yes, I know, I collect them myself, love them to death but it's a toy, on an importance scale of 1-10 it scores a .5 because really, they're toys. |

I think they should do away with exclusive altogether.I can't say i would ban walmart just cuz they don't have my toys.If i see something there that i want,i'm getting it.Weither you get the exclusives from there or someone here, walmart is still getting your money.
