What is everyones obession with Wal Mart. I for one hate Wal Mart, always had and always will. Everyday I see threads on Wal Mart, 'Wal Mart won't carry ROC, ...raised prices, ...sucks'. Yeah, we live in a country where we have the right to speak our minds but all this Wal Mart crap is getting old. I never saw what the big deal was with this company. They got alot of money from me when figures were $4.86 even up to $5.99 only because with 25th Waves 2, 4,and 9 they had them before other retailers. Honestly, I don't see the big deal when their prices (Joe figures) are only .11 cents cheaper. You spend more driving to one of their stores that I don't see how that 11 cents is justifiable. Unless you live walking distance from one of these hell hole stores. With ROC out, many are angry because they can't find them at Wal Mart. Toys R Us and Target has had them for weeks and even had sales and prices reduced. Remember this is the same company that put the 3.75" on hiatus for Sigma 6. Hasbro had nothing to do with the line going in hiatus back in 2005. Wal Mart striaght up said they weren't buying 3.75" and wanted something different. Wal Mart was also the first ones to raise prices on the 25th/Modern line that other retailers followed. Don't even get me started with the exclusives.
I've rambled enough about this subject. We all know Wal Mart sucks and they can give a rats @$$ if we don't shop there because of a toy. Remember these are just toys.

I've only seen one. Where are all the others?
Everybody hates something. Where were you when all the ROC movie threads were around? Now those sucked. |

Only go if I have to to buy food. If I go to Joe aisle its because its next to Hot Wheel aisle. After that electronics. Then the soda/snackcake/beef jerky canned peanut/junk aisle. Then reg groceries, then homeward bound.

Conquest, I think that Mgr might have been joshing you. Remember, we did just find the "hard to find" wave of Para-Viper, PP Baroness, Doctor, etc...at Wal*Mart.
I think this guy just has no idea wtf he's talking about, or didn't clarify that his store will probably not be carrying them. No worries, man. The MN'ers will pull through and get our two packs! |

Slaves or HissTankers? LOL...a bit much man, no? At least you're dedicated to the cause! +5 internets for you!
The unfortunate truth: Wal*Mart has exclusives that are desirable. Heck, I want 2 sets just for myself! Now...if we could somehow all make a pact that says we won't bother looking for those exclusives..then that's one thing. But I doubt any of us could stick to it if we saw them hanging on pegs....I know I couldn't! |
