So I was cleaning my Night Landing Craft, and after probably 10 years, I've realized that while close at a quick glance, this is not the submachine gun that came with it originally... appears I may not have scrutinized it closely enough when I bought it, and got duped (no big).
What first stood out was the grip, it really doesn't look like Hasbro to me, more of a OG Star Wars feel to it ( though of course, Luke never carried a submachine gun). after looking a bit more closely, I came to realize that it's also a lower quality mold in general, and more closely resembles a grease gun than the actual LNC gun does. I then looked through WHOBIT, and couldn't find a match, unsurprisingly. Any ideas? |

Looks like it's from the ultra rare 1984 Stealth Attack Luke Skywalker.

Now I see where the confusion came from- unless this active listing has the exact same KO gun...
...there are two variations. I'm more familiar with this gun shown here on the sprue, which is far more detailed and has a more Joe-like grip. After 20+ years, I apparently can still learn a lot about the ARAH era Joes! |

I’m pretty sure that’s the Grease Gun from the Remco Sgt Rock lone. The two pieces are very similar.

I had the night landing as a kid and I recall thinking the gun that came with it was more like the guns from my sgt rock guys than a gi joe gun.

I have a couple kicking around in my collection too. It might be from the old 80s A-Team action figures... possibly.
