I'm curious how everyone else feels about the ROC soundtrack as we know of it so far. The latest trailer showing us KID ROCK's American Badass as the musical background. I've seen some say they liked it and some who are not impressed.
How do you feel about the soundtrack so far? I also have been searching online and as of this moment I cannot find any definitive song listing for the ROC soundtrack. Has anyone seem this anywhere? DD

Hate the song, and don't care for Kid Rock at all. I was about to say I expect better from Stephen Sommers, but usually trailers and TV spots are made by outside companies and not the filmmakers themselves.
In any event, yes, there will most likely be no soundtrack with songs. Lots of movies use songs in their advertising that are never included in the movies themselves or on the soundtrack. If there was going to be a song album, we'd probably know by now. So I'm pretty sure the only soundtrack we'll see is Silvestri's score. (And I'm a-okay with that. ) |

Exactly, it's just a TV Spot song, probably won't be on the "music inspired by" album if there is one.

im okay with kid rock in small doses. if you look at sommers' movies, theyre not usually too "rock song" driven. not like say, rob zombie or michael bay's movies. and i agree, we'dve probably have seen it by now. usually its the score that is released as a secondary thought.
and speaking of the score, ive already preordered mine and am looking very much forward to it. Quote:

In a way it was adding to the "Real AMERICAN Hero". Too bad if its only for the commercial not the movie itself. I guess we're back to an international force. Shit!
