Too much stress fighting Cobra, that his hair survived going white instead of falling out.

I'm Filipino and I don't mind that it's called A Real American Hero. I don't mind Americans naming and claiming a franchise they started. I'm patriotic, I also understand if others have a sense of patriotism themselves. Nor am I "waah, where's our representation?". Don't want them to ever pander to my countrymen because we all know it ain't sincere when it happens.

You sure about that? Wikipedia says Agro's Cartoon Connection had GI Joe. Given Agro started in 89, I'd assume that's Dic Joe. The block Agro took over from, The Cartoon Connection, isn't documented. Not at least from what a basic search could bring up. I'm not old enough to remember Agro well. I remember Samurai Pizza Cats and Sailor Moon, but I switched to Cheez TV for Biker Mice from Mars. I know Cheez TV still played older cartoons in the 90s like D&D, but I don't know what the dying corpse of Agro played from 93 onwards.
I am fairly sure the CGI Movies aired here on Foxtel, but Sigma Six never did. He was a Ginger from... The Outback of Australia, I guess. Lets say Alice Springs.

I checked with FB friends my own age, and we agree that when we were kids the Joe cartoon never aired here. However several friends who are a bit younger, and kids in the early 90s more than the 80s, said they DID see it on. So I guess it was airing on some channels in the early 90s in Australia? I also had 2 friends who grew up in the 80s ina different state swear they had seen it as kids so... *shrug*
All I can say is of the guys I went to school with, none of them remembered seeing it on TV. A lot of us rented VHS tapes though.

If Joe did air here, 80s Channel 7 seems to be the go to channel for anything noteworthy in terms of franchise driven cartoons. HeMan, Thundercats, Transformers, TMNT, all on 7. But to be honest, I remember World4Kids having a huge segment of wall of just Ninja Force and Street Fighter II Joes. It's strange to me that a brand with no animated support, despite an animated series existing, would get such shelf space. Old TV guides would be really helpful now, lol.
