I talk ten times more shit in person than I do on the net. Mainly because I don't have to spell check every other word I say, so not to get caught up in that damn typo trap.

My biggest complaint with Hasbro missing the mark has to do with vehicles. It becomes hard to stay supportive of a toy line and its offerings when a toy put out 25 years ago is vastly superior in every way to something made in the 21st century. That is just sad to me. It is not just the 80's nostalgia speaking either. I get irritated and have to comment when I hear of an upcoming release and picture in my mind what it COULD be, then actually see it...That is when I feel Hasbro has their heads in their asses. Sometimes I think they get the history of GI Joe and Playskool switched and we get their releases.

I'd like to point out that it appears the OP wasn't complaining about complaining, but just trying to find out why so me people seem so massively pissed off in their posts rather than saying something like "Eh, I just don't like the movie or it's toys"

I'm all for freedom of expression, so here's mine: I think people express and post negative opinions and criticisms for one of two reasons. First, they really think negatively about the topic or issue at hand, but I think this is the minority. Most nay-sayers are such because they feel a sense of superiority, kinda like they are smarter than the average bear if they find and point out flaws in a certain product, movie or whatever. I've seen this in the academe where the so-called scholars practically make a living at finding fault in certain ideas or propositions. As my uncle (who was dean of the College of Law in a premiere university here) used to say, some of the most stupid people you can find have PhDs. Perhaps the same thing is happening here.
