Should classic vehicles be reivented and reinterpreted ?

I am in favor of this, so long as they actually feel like upgrades and not cheaper simpler versions of the originals. I also think that it is important to retain enough of the original look to make it recognizable - don't just design any old modern looking tank and call it the "Mauler" unless it actually looks Mauler-like.

I was actually disappointed by the Eaglehawk - the original was better. If they were going to update the Tomahawk the main thing they should have added was sliding side doors. It's still an excellent toy, don't get me wrong.
I think what would get me excited would be releasing more small to mid size vehicles - and not just recoloring the same handful of them but genuinely releasing a bunch. |
