Hi.
Could you please tell me the measurements of the GI Joe Mobile Command Center? I can't find it anywhere and I'm looking to get one but I want to know if it can fit in my shelves...

Fore to aft, 29 inches. Side to side, you'll need 12 inches width. Height, allow 16 inches for the missile launcher to clear your shelf.

Also did you plan to display it opened or closed? If opened, you'll need a little over 3ft.

I was thinking open... 3ft? Wow... That's way too much for my 1 feet's (wide) shelves...

I display mine as a mobile command vehicle in transport mode, with the missile turret armed atop the missile control center, (kind of like having the top down on a convertible). It makes the vehicle seem better armed and more agressive that way. The yard stick placed behind it indicates that if you choose to display it that way that I do, it is nearly 16 inches tall. If you close the roof and keep the missile turret stored inside the vehicle, maybe 15 inches would work for you. I guess you could build yourself some shelves to display the MCC opened up as a base, but that would take up a great deal of shelf space (more space than my shelves have available). Let me know if you need the measurements for that, or if "rea1180" needs more photographic evidence.

Oh, but Steam-Roller tells me you don't know much about the 1987 Mobile Command Center, especially the part about the missile launcher...

I probably would have to create a new space for it in my shelving area. Customizing the space between shelves.
