The 'don't Ask don't tell Policy' prevents me from discussing any experience I may or may not of had in bath house with a bunch of military men.

Not only did I do it but passed the battles to my son.
He has a corps small boat that the joes, clone troops, and super heroes use in the water. The best part is hearing my wife cussing in the shower the next morning from stepping on a joe that went mia during the bath tub evac . |

If it was a boat it got in the water. bathtub or the pool...and if I saw a Joe scaled boat of any kind at the stores I just had to get it and load it up with every one that would fit on it.
Around about 89/90 though I started making boats out of styrofoam for the pool even made a carrier with cardboard decks, held down with duct tape and the bridge was one of those old styrofoam Mc Donald's chicken mcnugget boxes and took a magic marker to write little details on the deck, like the number and those little lines. I tried to make it look like the Flagg or well as much as ten foot of styrofoam and cardboard could lol. I came to find out though that sunlight doesn't mix well with styrofoam and the carrier just crumbled apart. I still remember that fateful day the ship broke up and the Phantom fell beneath the waves with Ghost Rider and Ace trapped inside... |

Hell yes, I used to take alot of my figures in the water when I was younger. GI Joe didn't go in as often as the Ninja Turtles did.

The town park has a pond (which I'm sure was chemically treated), and the Cobra Water Moccasin, Devilfish, and SHARC with Deep Six, were all frequent visitors, along with my cousins WHALE, and crew. Good times.
In the winter we loved bringing out the Snow Cats, and wreaking havoc with their missiles in the snow banks also. Played outside with most of my joe's, That's how my Rattler got damaged in the jungle in my backyard, I really shouldn't have thrown it. |

I def did that. Many a COBRA EEL was attacked by rubber sharks that would lie dormant in Flintstones Bubble Bath waiting to strike!
Once I got a little older though I kind of got anal about keeping things clean and dry. I did however try the recent Water Mocassin in my sink just to see if it would float and the ass sank down a bit, got a little water in it but not much...didnt sink, but didnt really float either. |
