The really absurd thing is that on the Big Jim catalog, Iron Jaw was there, but it remained only as a prototype.
Excellent figure Cable, I'm not an ML expert and I did not know him. Other votes for Storm Shadow. The white Ninja has many admirers!

I was a huge fan of the Black Lagoon figure as a kid, I worked him into my mix of Joes, Star Wars, Adventure People, Micronauts, and whatever else I could find lol

Come on boys! Hot toys Hulkbuster is not an action figure, rather a small masterpiece of engineering applied to hot toys. What do you think of the Hokuto 200x series? I go crazy for this:

I am probably forgetting some.
1. POC Beachhead. This was one of the first modern era joes I picked up and he is awesome, if a little short. 2. Cobra Shock Trooper/any variant. This to me is what the Cobra troopers should have become in the 21st century. These look like PMCs in the real world, or they could be any way. 3. FSS Topside. I was done with joes by the time V1 came out, but my little brother bought him for me because I was in the Navy at the time. The FSS version is an awesome reimagining/update. 4. Luke Skywalker bespin Fatigues. Back in the day, when ESB came out, he was one of the first figures I got and he was Luke, but he was also a generic space pilot, space soldier etc for me. 5. Any 8 inch Mego superhero. I didn't have any, but my considerably more well off cousins had all of them (or, at least more than I knew existed) and we had hours and hours of fun playing with them. If I were pressed to pick just one, it would be Shazam/Captain Marvel because he is just freaking awesome. |
