I back Wal-Mart 100% on NOT selling until the 10th. Hasbro put a date on the box, WM made a mistake and got fined $10,000, and then Hasbro moves the date up? Make up your DAMN MIND Hasbro! You punish a retailer for not sticking to the date, then you move the date. I know if I was WM, I would stick to the original date to the letter. You want people to follow the rules, then don't change them in the middle of the game. This is the same crap they pulled with ROTF figures (moving up the date). No wonder WM is fed up and said screw it, wait until the 10th!
WM can make or break a toy line. Why Hasbro insists on f%&ing with them is a mystery. Hasbro should not be surprised if/when WM makes negotiations in the future VERY tough.

The Walmarts around me have not put out any Joe stuff at all, same with TRU.I went to TRU this morning and asked what going on with the GI Joe stuff and an employee told me they won't put them out in about 2 to 3 weeks because of the big display they are going to have for them.I found all the new Joe stuff at both Targets in my area.I only picked up the cobra gunship. So,Target is definitely Joe HQ.Walmart and TRU are making a big screw up in my opnion.

You know I was on hold with them to find out if they were selling them cause I want the 2 packs, and I saw this and see nobody has seen them yet. Thank you hisstank! So I didn't have to stay on hold with these malcontents.

Whatever stores sell them first will get the most sales...collectors are the only ones buying these, especially right now! Wait till were done buying..the pegs will be overflowing with ROC and likely Walmart will own the bulk of it

I will check on Tuesday when I go back to work to see if the UPCs are still locked. We hadn't actually gotten anything but the 12" Ninjas and the Snake-Eyes roleplay set when I left Saturday evening and they were still locked. These actually made it to the floor at my fiancee's store and I pointed it out to the Asst. Manager and Dept. manager. I'll let everyone know when I find out.

So far... we found one WalMart that had figs out on the 4th. When we asked if they had more than the 1 case, the manager in the area wanted to know who put them out and wanted them pulled. So... as far as my area goes... no WalMart's yet.
Target's and TRUs though... SCORE! |

one of the walmarts in my area had one of those walmart cardboard box like stands they do and it had all kinds of different roc stuff 1 side was solid figures like six deep the other side had figures 2to3 deep, another side had all the little vehicles except the gun ship, the last side had the litte kid troop things. when i walked away from it at first my "husband" said no way nothing in all that do you need! i said well i need to check the joe isle first. well there was no joe isle so i went back and got duplicates of what i got at target the day before since at wallys they are only 7.88 and i bought 2 of each of the little vehicles. but even with all the figs they had like a hundred or more they were all the same case type so thats why i wanted to see if the isle had different stuff but like i said no isle. sure hard to look at figs when you have to get on your hands and knees and keep looking out for carts since the "cube" was placed right by the electronics department and the last shelf i s at ground level. yet a wally in the next city over only had the snake-eyes dress up thing and nothing else

Unless the walmarts i deal with are waiting till the 10th to put roc figs. on the shelf. then the only thing i can buy right now are 3 cobra commanders with mass element or a ig/viper comic pack
