Great thread!
Joes and Marvel Universe is bad. Sounds like Star wars is bad. Shoes are worse. So glad I scaled back on that stuff and just collect joes and MU now. I've dropped over a grand in one day on rare Nikes. Never again.

I just want to walk into a store where I can feel that remorse. I am still only seeing a trickle of products. I would love a full release.

when i went to toys r us yesterday morning i dropped $249.99 on all the stuff i picked up.if i had any regrets on what i bought i would say it would have been on the multiply storm shadow figures for me and my kids(got three of the wave one collection one).imo the pitt playset and the 2 steel crusher's were the best items i picked up,and i plan to get a few more later this week if they are avalible.so i have to say no real buyer's remorse.

Hmm, i was at my TRU on saturday at opening time. I saw the RoC display, and the prices invoked some sticker shock! Well, the vehicles did. Joes have been 7.99 here for a while, so the single packed guys were the same. But i really wanted the gunship and the steel crusher, but for 25 bucks a pop?!? i think not. Sad thing is, i didn't even want the motor viper, just the crusher. But the box for it is sooooo small, and the price so large. Very discouraging. I wound up spending about 120 bucks for 12 figures. I too went in with a clear idea of what i wanted... one snake eyes, one stormshadow, one shipwreck, and some TRU fireflies and as many baroness-es as i could score (for projects) . Sadly there were only two baroness-es (we didn't get alot apparently, four boxes of figures, so two of each assortment i guess?) I bought one baroness and left another for someone else. I did score both snakes and stormshadow, as well as shipwreck. I also wound up getting scarlett, covergirl, and destro as well. Oh, and 5 of the TRU fireflies. I have opened them up and a day to digest has gone by and im still pretty happy with my purchases. But still, i wish i could have scored a gunship and a steel crusher for reasonable prices. Now i gotta find that Target rescue pack (i am afraid to ask how much that one is, since i only want the snake eyes from it)

you did the right thing by returning the stuff way too much money to spend on toys if your don't have it or need it for something else.

If you got the money, go for it. I feel no remorse because I actually budgeted for it this month. And I intend to keep buying because the lack of 25th product in recent months actually gave me a chance to save up.
