I forget if this was taped to the inside or outside of a wave 10 case from BBTS a few months ago. I thought I lost it but found it with my receipts. I'm sure its nothing but I am interested in knowing what this is. I hope somebody on the tank can translate.

The gist of it is that it's going to the US and the date code is 82292. The date is on the top left which is 16/8. On the right side, it says this is "Part 2" or "2nd portion"
The writing on the right side is someone's authorization signature and below is saying the destination which is US and DC 82292 I don't know what the stuff on the left side in the box means though. I think the first one is model or designation number and I don't know what the second line there says. Very bottom is another person's signature.

Good stuff! Thanks for the translation too. Pretty sharp gettin the date code. I forget how the date code is broken down though.

I would love to see a video tour of how our beloved GI Joe toys are made in the factory.
Seeing something like a Resolute Snake Eyes being assembled would be like seeing money printed. |

I doubt we will ever see anything like that. Nobody wants to film underpaid worker in a rundown factory. Then again we might have better luck catching it in on a dateline episode or something. lol

Actually, workers in Chinese toy factories do well. They live in dorms and have cafeterias. While their wages may be low, their "cost of living" is nothing like what we have here, so they can live on the money they make. While there are some factories that are in horrible condition, there are just as many that are in great condition and are actually pretty up-to-date safety-wise. This same thing holds true for US based industries.

I have visited factories in China and they are neither underpaid nor run down. The factories that the Chinese are now using are state of the art. They have clean (cleaner than American factories) and safe working environments. In many cases the workers were living in grass huts with dirt floors just weeks before, now they live where they work (living quarters are provided on or close to the factories). Worker get three meals and medical attention if needed. Yes they make dollars a day but they also do not have a through the roof standard of living in China, most of the time they make enough to send to their families back at the hut. I love how we in the US just bow at the myths that the media spoon feed us.
