If Blind Hermit beats Pit Viper and Pit Commando, it's an Ice Cream Soldier moment.

I couldn't disagree more strongly. He's one of the best characters remaining from the cartoon and had lots of dialogue, personality and extremely consequential actions in the plot. He has a great look, captured beautifully in custom card art that will look great in the winners gallery. ICS had no media development and he looked terrible. There is absolutely no comparison between the two whatsoever.

This is his chance with the two pit soldiers splitting the trooper vote.

The pits are suffering from the splits.

Blind Hermit is an homage to Gene Hackman in Young Frankenstein. Speaking of Frankensteins making the poll...

I think they're both homages to the similar character from Shelley's novel who was apparently in the original Bride of Frankenstein.
"Following the sound of a violin playing "Ave Maria", the Monster encounters an old blind hermit (O. P. Heggie) who thanks God for sending him a friend. He teaches the monster words like "friend" and "good" and shares a meal with him. " |

I went back and read the ICS and Dee Jay wars
The ICS war was weak. The Dee Jay wars seemed like a nice one to have been part of. I would have tried to block Dee Jay. I think Dee Jay is lame and I really like Dragaonsky. But they dont even come close to the great Dawn Wars.

I've just been debating who to vote for. I'd prefer a PIT winner, since I nommed them, but maybe getting Herman's Hermit outta the way might be a good thing.
