But, what happens to you when your collection dies?

This actually would be good for the value of the collections of the living.
Each collectors death floods the market. If collections are buried with the collector, all other collections retain their value. The few of us to out live the community would have one of only a handful of surviving collections, making them very valuable. |

You know, in a manner of speaking, that's happening to me. I'm sorta getting sick of kid's toys cluttering up the joint, so we shall see.

When your collection dies, send it to me.
Or, if you have kids in the family, start making their birthdays and Christmases rock. Make it rain!

I actually plan to outlive as many of you as possible for the express purpose of hoarding up your army builders.

All Jokes aside I organized my stuff when I was out working FMS cases so that if an op went tits up my wife could sell them in the containers and bags they were in, organized by line, faction, trooper type or some logical delineation. All the 84 guys in one bag with all relevant accessories, would make a great ebay " Lot". I told her each bag should go together as a coherent unit to get the most buck for the bang. Collections are still organized like that to this day. But now we have two boys who love this shit and it will all no doubt go to them, hell some of it IS theirs like the Rolling Thunder was the older boys Christmas present this year.

Well, if it's anything like when I moved out of my parents' home. My new apartment was too small so I left my boxes of Joe vehicles and playsets in my parents' garage. A few months after I left they got divorced and sold the home. I learned later that they just tossed my stuff in the trash, never bothering to contact me or let me know.
So I could see my wife just tossing my stuff out on the curb in the even of my untimely demise. At least they are all currently stacked in plastic containers in our own garage for easy removal.
