Looking around these boards it's just nuts at the number of crimson gaurds, troopers, etc that you guys have. That, to me honestly must take A TON of cash and patience. Your pics look just amazing guys, seriously. Seeing your dedication to have 50+ troopers standing behind a Cobra Commander or custom IG's behind Destro.....both jaw dropping and mindblowing always with amazing results. My hat goes off to you guys but seriosuly....HOW do you do it? lol You know, I've always thought the same thing...especially with older figs. A good shape CG is not a cheap thing and to have 50 of them is just plain costly...too rich for my blood. |

The most troopers i have for an army is 3 crimson guards. Man my cobra army is pathetic...My wife already looks at me funny when i get so excited about new figures, she would probably do more than look if i bought all of them...

Well really, although I am a college student, and therefore only buy one of each figure to display out of the box (plus I keep variants I find MOC), its not too hard for me to fathom someone troop building 50+ of their favorite troopers if they are displayed in a nice and organized way. Think of the money that people sometimes spend on paintings to decorate their homes and offices with (sometimes $2,000-$5,000). So if your looking for a way to decorate a room and hyou love Gi Joes, why not get a shelf and fill it up with figs...it will probably be less expensive.
P.S. Ha Ha, all you peeps with wives, I've been with my GF for 3 years and she likes my display of Joes, and buys them 4 me sometimes ( =. |

Right now i have about 50 figures. I haven't really figured out how i am going to store them. They are packed nicely in a large plastic tub, still in the packages until i do... |
