Another idea--how about an urban environment scenario where an experimental device is hidden somewhere in a building within a city block. The agent hiding thre device from Cobra sends a message to GI Joe about where the device is hidden, but the message is incomplete. Cobra intercepts the message fragment and now both teams have clues as to the device location and race to find it.

I've been liking the idea of using Move Points to greater effect, it adds another dimension to the game. The smaller Move goals last round were especially nice, and I think it'd work well for this Urban idea, as was said earlier, Scouts could uncover weapons and get a bonus to their usual -1 damage.

If that was to happen, I would want the move objective hid and the move requirements hid as well. For example, we say a scout can get a new weapon but not tell what it is and the scout starts to move. The amount moved would be hid and if a scout lands on that, say 15 moves he would get that weapon and ad +1 to his or her hit

the weapons idea:
It could be not only weapons, but equipment. The scouts may find a first kit, letting them heal 2 points only once, or permanently adding 1 heal to their abilities. (This would make the scouts some kind of jack of all trades. Something interesting for a class not usually used.) Another thing, following the urban idea, is to have civilian vehicles. A scout moves enough to find one, and "jumps in", adding 2 to their movement for somethig related in the mission (like rescuing people). If he do so, he can only move. |
