My favorite item was the green canvas belt with the brass GI Joe cinch tight buckle form (I think) the original Fan Club. I felt pretty cool as a kid wearing that thing with my camo pants when we played "guns". Also the old fan club posters (I could kiss 3D Joes for reprinting them!)

I really miss the Survival Beverages. Infantry Orange was bomb.

Here's me with this:
I used it every Saturday morning when we played "guns". We'd use an entire neighborhood block as our play field. Last edited by Indiana Joe; 10-21-2016 at 09:57 AM.. |

I dug all that stuff as a kiddo, but rarely got any of it. Money was tight so I chose the actual toys over role-play canteens, soap cases and branded walkie-talkies. Right now though, I'm looking at a "vintage" G.I. Joe gumball dispenser sitting on my desk. It's both lame and awesome at the same time, as it has a big sticker of the "Original 9 with MOBAT" on it. lol
It's this one: YOJOE.COM | G.I.Joe Gumball Machine |
