Australian G I Joe Character

I was wondering if there was ever an Australian G I Joe character made ?

Major Bludd is the obvious choice. Monkeywrench and maybe Buzzer? They sure sounded Australian mate! Zartan in Resolute had this weird Aussie wannabe accent too.

There was an Australian Joe comic that had a character called Digger as a sort of host introducing the stories and having a moral thing at the end. He was pretty much a Recondo knock off, in so much as he WAS Recondo, they just called him Digger

What surprised me was they have a character called "Outback", but he wasn't Australian.

They gave his TF counterpart an Australian accent though. I didn't know Autobots had aussies...

Yea I got Recondo today actually and noticed he is wearing a Slouch Hat, Australian Military issued Hat, Digger sounds kinda lame though as a character name in my opinion... Recondo looks more like a Safari Hunter in my eyes, haha.

AND... I was surprised that Outback wasn't an Australian, I mean come on, when people refer to the word Outback, people usually are meaning the Australian Outback... and also, he's a Ranga... What's with that ?

Skymate...someone at hasbro didn't like aussies much. At least his file card makes him sound cool even if he's dressed like he lost a bet.

A Pink Boomerang ? OH MY GOD ! What was Hasbro thinking ? Australians deserve more credit then a Pink Boomerang !

Just read his card, said he was a part of the S.A.S. that's cool... But the rest of the card just makes him sound like a joke... I'll say it again, Australians deserve more credit then that !

It's G.I. Joe, it was (up until RoC) an american unit with a couple of foreign service observers (Big Ben, Skymate, Backstop, Switch Gears and Long Range #2). Skymate's an awesome character if you look past the outfit (and with the Joes of that era, you have to).

How is he a joke? He's part of the SAS which makes him one of the toughest Joes (SAS > Rangers) and his card says he's one of the toughest Australian SAS soldiers.

Troynos, if you were Australian you would understand... and I said that him being S.A.S. was pretty cool...
