A good number of the most popular vehicles have been re-issued in modern already. In most cases multiple times.
That's not to say all have been done. I think a lot of Hasbro's thinking has been cost factors. Lets face it...Joes and action figures in general have not been growing as a market. So they are going to reuse existing molds as much as possible. Every so often they toss us a bone, like a Skystriker or Tomahawk, but it will be a long time before we get another bone like those. Expect more of what we already have, VAMP jeep molds both classics and the POC mold. Claws, Sky Hawks, Ninja Cycles, HISS Tanks, Sharc, Water Moccasin etc, etc, etc. If were lucky we might get stuff like a repaint of the Rattler, or Skystriker, MAYBE the Cobra Moray Hydrofoil or such. Don't expect them to dust off the Slugger or Adder or Pogo or TTBP anytime soon. I think the two molds were all HOPING to see at some point in a revised capacity are the WHALE, and Night Raven....but I think sales would need to take a HUGE bump for us to see that happen...MAYBE when they make a third film...but even then with past sales having been so weak, I wouldn't hold your breath. |

Why do fans need the old vehicles re released? Buy the vintage ones, most fit the ME figures fine.

As far as the old stuff goes, I think Hasbro did a great job during the 25th line in releasing most of the best old vehicles. All they missed was some of the larger stuff, like the Whale, Night Raven and Hydrofoil. The most glaring ones missing were the Dragonfly and Wolverine.
Rather than re-sizing or releasing old stuff, I'd like to see new takes on some of the classics like the ASP, Ferret, or APC. |

Heck kids like to open new things. These are toys but some peole treat their collections like museum displays. We have gotten some nice rereleases too like the skystrikers and stinger jeeps. The new mobat are cool and snow cats with the new missles are very cool. The additions to the tomahawk with retaliation were nice. |

Maybe right before the new movie, we will get a Whale/moray 2 pack. It would be online only and cost $85. I'd go for that.
