Clutch is the go-to mechanic.

i wanted to stay away from using clutch bc he is the go to. i wanted to use a guy thats not well used. cover girl was in my line up but has been deleted bc i want a "manly" crew, i need people with muscles. i didnt know dodger was, but he is also bf2k so not sure if i want him in this sub team i am making since he is already in a sub team.
cross country was on my list but for a different position but has been deleted. i have the club one but never read his file card. not sure if i want him in my sub team via the clubs file card. i tend to stay hasbro exclusive. i know im making this difficult lol |

Support staff.

he was on my list in another role till i remembered another joe i could use better. i know any tanker is a basic mech, my grand father was a tank commander on the m48 back in the korean war and i know he has told me all kinda stories about working on that baby.
i kinda like the idea of using cross country but i have never really liked the figure. love the havok for some reason but the driver was always lame to me. think i might go with my original idea of using bazooka. he was a former tanker and is now a anti-tanker which is really what im looking for, a mech/gunner. was just hoping i could find someone who was actually a mech bc all joe's are gunners. plus i like bazooka. i'll just bend his bio and imply he is a mech from his tanker days. |

I know you seem to have decided against using Cross Country, but I had another reason for suggesting him. If you look at the 1993 Battle Corps era figure, he has a tool pouch full of wrenches and other tools on his right leg. I'm honestly surprised Hasbro decided to list his two specialties as being the Battle Wagon and Mudbuster driver, when it looked obvious he should be listed as a mechanic. But I guess Hasbro saw it was more important to advertise two more vehicles through his filecard than to list a practical secondary specialty.

I repurposed Renegades Ripcord into an aircraft crew chief named "Airworthy"
We have more than enough snipers and heavy machine gunners, which pretty much constitutes about half the membership. Joe is severely lacking in support personnel, real pilots, machinists and Officers (I commissioned Duke, Flint, and Scarlett). I could really use another surgeon and a few nurses.

I guess cross country could play the mechanic role, as per his figure and comics
