I put my vote in for Big Bad Toy Store. They always pack everything really well for me. They seem to take the most time and care when packing compared to other vendors.

I order from TRU.com all the time, and at least 75% of my orders are shipped in one of those bubble envelope thingies. And there is almost always some damage to the figures card. I don't really mind it all that much since I open everything up anyways. But if you're looking for MOMC figures, TRU.com is NOT the way to go.

I try to support TRU whenever I can. Once TRU is gone the world will be Walmart, Target and online scalpers like BBTS, Toywiz and Brians toys. |

I've only ordered from TRU a couple of times but found the shipping to be at least as good as HTS if not better, the worst damage was the top of a Crimson Guard 5 pack but it was sliced from someone not being careful opening the case, there appeared to be no damage from the actual shipping. BBTS has been the best shipper in my experience but you pay secondary market prices

Same as some others, I have ordered from them quite a few times over the years, and never had a really great experience. They just throw things in a box, or ship carded figures in a padded envelope. Stupid. Return something because of it, and they may give you free shipping on your next order or something, though.
I've also ordered from HTS probably 20-30 times, and only had very minor issues with them. In my experience, they are SIGNIFICANTLY better than TRU.com. I think the complaints against HTS are blown out of proportion, for the most part. |

Never had a problem with HTS or BBTS. Never tried TRU. This thread makes me not want to.

I'm glad that you've had that experience. I've bought thousands of dollars worth of shit from them over the last few years and more often than not BBTS sends me boxes that look like they have been kicked around with malice. $100 for a Takara import transformer with a dented box. BBTS is a valuable resource when you have no where else to go but the they don't give two shits about their customers.
I try to support TRU whenever I can. Once TRU is gone the world will be Walmart, Target and online scalpers like BBTS, Toywiz and Brians toys. I've ordered from BBTS many times in the past now and would highly recommend them. Though, if you want something ensured to be pristine I'd get their collector's grade packaging. Toy's R Us.com is about the worst online store I have ever dealt with and will probably NEVER buy from them again. It was about July of last year when I ordered a Transformer from them. I was charged ten dollars for shipping (And for the record, I can get a TF of the same size imported from Japan for about half that), only to wait two or three weeks, and find out they shipped it in a yellow envelope. This was a deluxe figure and should have been sent in a small box (or at least for ten bucks it should have.). The envelope was dirty and beat up, when I opened it, I found out the packaging on the figure was absolutely destroyed. The bubble had been crushed so badly it nearly damaged the figure. I called them and complained so they did refund the shipping, but I would have been more outraged had I been buying this to keep sealed. |
