I'm looking to purchase the GI JOE A Real American Hero comics from the 1980's through the end of the run (#155).
So I see I would need to start with this compilation: G.I. Joe: The Complete Collection, Vol. 1: Justin Eisinger, Alonzo Simon, Mark Bellomo: 9781613773963: Amazon.com: Books Now I see this compilation and it looks like it collects the same thing as the Complete Collection. Or does it? Classic G.I. Joe, Vol. 1: Larry Hama, Herb Trimpe, Steven Grant, Don Perlin: 9781600103452: Amazon.com: Books What is the difference between these 2 compilations? |

The hardcover has cool annotations after every issue and cool introductions. It also integrates the Special Missions issues and the Hasbro in-between issues.
Also, hardcovers look really cool on the shelves. If you decide against the hardcovers, shoot me a message. Having bought them myself, I might be willing to part with the soft covers. |

The IDW RAH trades started with Vol 1 but they're about to redo them as "Classic GIJoe" Vol 16 on, though this seems really redundant to me.

Is there some site where each of the volumes to 'The Complete GI JOE' (hardcover) is listed?
For instance volume 1 has issues 1 - (??) contained in it? |
